The Hayling light railway trust
EST. 2021
The Hayling Light Railway is run entirely by unpaid members of the "Hayling Light Railway Trust". Volunteers from many different walks of life, and wide age range, share a passion of railways and use their free time to help operate and maintain our one mile of track running between Eastoke and Beachlands.
From a mere 10 members, when the original society was founded in 1988, the HLR Trust can boast well over 200 supporters and we are always looking for like minded people to join and help us run the railway.

If you are interested in doing something both rewarding and useful with your spare time, then volunteering is a great way to do both whilst making life long friends along the way. To raise your interest, do not hesitate to contact us by email at: haylinglightrailway@yahoo.com . Alternatively, feel free to pop your head in the depot at Eastoke when we are open and speak to some of the crew. You may even end up with a cup of the infamous 'railway tea' in your hand!
Experience is not required and all appropriate training is given to new members. We will be pleased to help you achieve the position which you aspire.
We hope to see you soon!
